Cfp: "Concepts of Knowledge," Canadian Society for Epistemology, Carleton University, November 6-7, 2009.
The symposium will be devoted to examining different characterizations of the concept of knowledge. We invite submissions dealing with conceptions of knowledge based on knowledge as representation, knowledge as ability, knowledge as propositional attitude, and so on. Cross-disciplinary submissions are particularly welcome. The languages of the symposium are English and French.
Authors are invited to submit a 250 word abstract (in English or in French) for a paper of 20-30 minutes reading time. The deadline for submitting an abstract is Friday September 18. The abstract can be submitted online by web form (recommended) or by email (attachment in DOC or RTF format):
For more information, visit the Symposium's website at http://pages.usherbrooke.ca/sce-cse/symposium/en/ or write david_matheson@carleton.ca or yves.bouchard@usherbrooke.ca.
